So you've written a book. Congratulations! Join the club. Get in line. The restrooms are in the back.
Today there are thousands upon thousands of self-published authors. Most of them are invisible. Nobody knows about them or their books. The sad truth is that writing a book is the easy part. Getting it out there, getting it seen, that's the hard part. But you've probably figured that out on your own already. You're a smart cookie.
So now you're trying to figure out how to promote your book and get the best bang for your buck. You've come to the right place.
Ok, you have several options:
Don't let the word free fool you. Free is not the same as worthless. This is actually one of the best ways for you to promote your book. Every day thousands of readers check out the Top 100 Indie Book Charts, so if your book is on the list, it'll get noticed.
Click on Add Your Book. Once your book is approved, it'll start to show up on the Top 100 list. The higher your book climbs, the more attention it will get.
So how do you make your book go higher on the Top 100? In your Control Panel, you'll find an option called Link Code. It'll give you a little LIKE button that you can put on your homepage. (You can also use it on Facebook, Twitter, Goodreads, LinkedIn, Pinterest, Tumblr, etc.) Every time one of your fans clicks on LIKE, your book will climb higher on the Top 100.
We also send out random promotional posts to our 180,000+ Facebook readers to encourage them to download and review the top books on the list, or read the latest author interview. So having your book on the Top 100 is a great way to promote your book for free and get it noticed. Go add your book to the Top 100 list right now. You'll be glad you did.
Going the Extra Mile:
Click here to be considered for an Author Spotlight, if you would like to really stand out from the crowd. We will introduce you and your work to our readers with an in-depth interview. The interview will contain permalinks to your book and to your author profile on Amazon, Goodreads or Facebook (your choice.) If you are selected for an Author Spotlight, your interview will be permanently published on the Bookmaester site and you will be eligible for a chance to have your interview sent out in one of our random promotional Facebook posts.
If you would like to make sure that your author interview or your book gets even more attention, you can reserve a promo blast to our 180,000+ Facebook readers. The link we send out can be one of these three options. You can choose:
A - send out a link to your Amazon book page, to maximize book downloads.
B - send out a link to your Author Spotlight, to maximize word of mouth.
C - send out a link to your Top 100 LIKE button, to maximize your book's chances of rising on the Top 100.
(Best bang for your buck!)
